Disney Fast Passes are really convenient to use if you use them wisely! Here are a few things to know!
A Fast Pass (FP) is basically a ticket to cut in line for a ride. You go to a machine, which is by the ride and put in your entrance ticket. Out spits your ticket and your FP. Be sure to take both tickets with you!
There is a separate line at the ride for people who have a Fast Pass. On your ticket it will say when you can get in the FP line. It will tell you an hour time frame to get into line. However, you can use the FP anytime after the first time listed. So if your FP says to come back between 12:30 and 1:30, it is acceptable to go back at 4:00 and get in the FP line.
There will also be a time listed on your ticket of when you can get your next FP. So, you will not be able to go from ride to ride collecting FPs. You will have to wait until the time listed. If you are in a big group and not all of your group wants to ride the same rides you can use their tickets to get FPs to other rides. My two little ones were too small to go on the Tower of Terror and the Rock'n'Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios so my husband took our five tickets so he could get FPs for both the rides for him and our older son.
Not all of the rides have a FP and you don't need a FP for some of the rides that have them depending on when you are there. If you look at my Disney notes you will see the rides that it is recommended that you get a FP. For some of the more popular rides they can run out of FPs pretty early in the day so if there is a popular ride you absolutely must ride on be sure to get in line for it early or get a FP!
Also, for some of the most popular rides the FP lines will get longer as the day goes on! It is better to ride them as soon as possible! We got a FP first thing for Soarin' at Epcot, but didn't get in the FP line until around 3:00. The normal line said it would take 2 hours to get through! The FP line took an hour!
For the most part getting a Fast Pass will save you a lot of time so you can enjoy more of what there is to experience at Disney World!

Random Tips when Visiting Walt Disney World
Random Tips While in the Parks:
· Take a picture of each kid each morning so know what they are wearing
· Pin name, number, resort, address in clothes or shoes each day (put in a plastic sleeve)
· Copy each ticket and write name on ticket in case it gets lost
· Wear same color shirt to spot easily-( we aren’t doing this, but it is a good idea)
· Tie a ribbon, scarf or balloons on stroller to find it quickly in crowd- Disney employees will move strollers around to make more room
· Bring your own stroller if you plan on using them – the parks rent them out, but it is super expensive!
· Have a plan the night before of where you are going each day so the children are aware and you can get the day going
· Bring two bags-one with snacks and water and essentials and smaller one with money and camera to take on rides
To Bring in the Parks:
